Hyslop's Blunder

Sir,
Further to your article (9 September 2011), it is blatantly obvious that the SNP hold no concrete position on Europe and are willing to play fantasy politics with the electorate. Ms Hyslop's statements in the chamber on 8 September 2011, during a debate on Scotland's role in European decision-making, have exposed the Scottish Government as having both a contradictory and inconsistent policy on Scotland's status within Europe.  At one point Ms Hyslop advised that Scotland would remain part of the EU and later admitted that leaving the EU, in favour of joining the EFTA, could be on the cards. Based on Ms Hyslop's claims it would appear that even the SNP do not know what they want and as a consequence are willing to jeopardise Scotland's interests.
