Scots Euro MP Visits Wester Overton Primary School, Lanarkshire | |
5th February 2008 Euro MP [Labour] Catherine Stihler will be visiting West Overton Primary School, South Lanarkshire to visit Primary six pupils following an invitation from the class. At the pupils request Catherine will be discussing her reasons for becoming an MEP, her responsibilities, and the committees she is involved in. Wester Overton Primary pupils research the European Parliament every Thursday, and are interested in finding out more about other countries, the role of MEPs and the tasks undertaken in the role of MEP.
