15th May 2008 Catherine visited Torry Academy in Aberdeen to talk to pupils following an invitation from the school. At the students request Catherine discussed the role of the European Parliament, alongside achievements in Europe for Scotland. Catherine was delighted to answer the pupils questions and discuss issues covered in the pupils higher modern studies and history classes.
